Legacy Inn Cookeville

I was very surprised at their low prices. Instead of booking online, I personally went to the actual hotel to see if there was anything wrong with it. The outside looks so pretty and well maintained. I stepped inside and the lobby was so nice and clean. I was greeted and then asked about their rates. I paid for 3 nights and was very impressed by the clean rooms. The best night sleep I’ve ever had. I wanted to take the bed home with me. If I am ever in the area, I will definitely be staying with them again.

Very kind staff, helped us reserve our room on the phone driving down from KY. Best sleep we have ever had away from home and close to plenty of food options. If we find ourselves near Cookeville we plan on returning!

Rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. Very quiet location. There was a $40 cash deposit, which was returned to me in the morning. Also, the place is just as cute as it can be!! I felt safe and everyone working at the desk was helpful and efficient. Will return and I do recommend.

Room was super clean! Housekeeping was very polite and respectful and did a thorough job. All staff and management were helpful and made my stay a pleasure. Also, new mattresses were replaced with brand new pillow tops while I was there ... Which also meant I got a peek under the beds .... Not a speck of dust under there! Very impressed! I will definitely be a returning customer!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised how clean and nice this inn was. Super affordable too. The mini fridge didn’t work the first night we were there, but when we brought it up to the lady at the front desk, the next day, she was more than willing to go take a look at it and fixed it for us. Just note they do have a $40 cash only deposit that is returned after they check your room when you check out.

I stayed at this location last night with my two kids and husband. Gave room 111. It was clean and comfortable. The lady who checked me in and out was very nice and understanding about my questions due to a recent hotel that I came from in the area which was extended stay inn and suites that hotel had literal homeless people with there clothes scattered all over the sidewalk around the office and dogs running lose did not feel safe since I have kids with me. The owners of the place have kept the grounds and rooms in very good condition and very friendly. I love the way the outside looks with all the flowers planted. The rooms are basic but who cares it is CLEAN, DOESN'T SMELL, NO BED BUGS, NO ROACHES. Hot water works quick. The price for the room is great and affordable.

This is the nicest small inn I have ever stayed in. I have been here 5 nights and the staff is friendly and cooperative. The rooms are nice the bed is comfortable and everything is clean and neat. There is a linen change schedule and the housekeepers are careful with your personal things. Guest can do laundry and ice is always available. Close to amenities and very good value for your money. I would recommend this inn to friends family and strangers. In fact I have. Enjoy your stay.

I have stayed at a lot worse , for a lot more, was very convenient and accommodating ,but was surprised at the $40.00 cash only returnable deposit which is inconvenient due to having to leave 2 days later before they open. Lady at desk was friendly and found us a ground floor room due husband had back surgery. Location was also fine even though I saw some were intimidated by it.
